Like the accountant who does a great job for his clients, but never gets around to his own taxes, so has the story been for Influence's own website. Our last site was designed in 2003 and has had a few updates since, but frankly, has been outdated for some time(and as a result a bit of an embarrassment).
Welcome to the new influence website! What a huge relief this is for me as, as I find it is for any business owner. Being current just feels good. It also includes our new Influence Internet logo, which is take-off on our Influence Healthcare branding.

This site is done with the low-cost website development tool we have been using with lower budget clients, typically a budget between $1,000 and $2,000. It's not the perfect tool, but boy do we like it. Here's why:

- Object Oriented - Every piece of content sits in a "bucket" that is dragged onto the page. What you see is what you get.
- NO HTML - If you know me, you know I make no bones about not being a designer or a programmer. I rock at usability and knowing good layout. I did most of the layout for this site on my own. That's saying something. Not having to worry about the code of the site, I got to focus on the layout and the message, which made the project fun. Hard to believe but true. Worth noting, we started two of our higher-end clients, Napa Valley Tours and Transportation and Eagle Rock Fulfillment, on Weebly sites to nail down the structure and content of their sites before we built out their WordPress sites. This is now a standard practice for us with higher-end clients.
- It's in the cloud! - You hear the term "in the cloud" all the time, but what does it mean? Bottom-line, it simply means all you need is a web browser and an Internet connection. Everything is done from there. No software. No uploading content, and then publishing it. So all editing was done from my website browser, and could be done on most any browser on the planet. Real flexibility.
